My Approach to Astrology
An astrological birth chart can be viewed from many different perspectives. It can offer insight into personality, relationships, life direction, emotional life, the body, purpose, developmental stages, or deeper existential and soul-related questions.
What we see in a chart always depends on the framework through which it is interpreted.
Through years of studying astrological traditions, symbolic systems, practical client work, and exploring life itself, I gradually developed my own approach, which I call Consciousness Astrology™.
The Birth Chart as a Map of the Psyche and Consciousness
In Consciousness Astrology™, the birth chart is not viewed merely as a map of personality.
I see it as a symbolic map of the psyche, consciousness, the nervous system, relationship dynamics, life direction, and the deeper themes that shape human life.
One of the central ideas in my work is that the nervous system acts as a bridge between the body, the psyche, and inner experience.
The birth chart may describe potential.
The nervous system influences how easily that potential can be expressed and embodied in everyday life.
The ways we react, protect ourselves, love, form attachments, express ourselves, and engage with the world create a whole that can be explored through both psychological and astrological perspectives.
Astrology can help us understand not only who we are, but also the direction in which we are growing.
Planets as Forces of Consciousness
Within this framework, planets are not merely celestial bodies. They can be understood as symbolic forces that describe different psychological and experiential dimensions within a person.
Planets represent different operating principles, needs, motivations, and developmental potentials.
The signs describe how these energies are expressed. The houses reveal the areas of life where these themes become visible. The aspects show how all these elements interact and relate to one another.
In this way, the birth chart becomes more than a personality profile. It becomes a symbolic map of how a unique human life seeks to unfold and express itself. Consciousness Astrology™ utilizes multiple astrological chart systems, allowing us to view the individual from different perspectives: as a psychological, developmental, and soul-centered whole.
My purpose is not to "predict the future" or place people into categories. My purpose is to help people understand themselves more deeply, recognize the patterns shaping their lives, and reconnect with their own inner compass.
The deepest goal is true alignment — living in greater harmony with one's authentic nature. Carl Jung referred to this process as individuation.
My Journey as an Astrologer
My path as an astrologer is deeply connected to a lifelong fascination with human behaviour, consciousness, relationships, symbolism, spirituality, and the invisible structures that shape our lives.
I have always been interested in life's big questions: Why do people experience the world so differently? What shapes our choices, relationships, challenges, and the direction of our growth? What forces operate beneath visible behaviour?
A journey to India in 2018 opened a completely new perspective on astrology for me, particularly when I saw astrology being studied in universities and integrated into everyday life. I received readings from different astrologers that sparked a question: How do they know these things about me? What began as curiosity gradually evolved into years of intensive study.
Over the years, I have explored astrology through many different lenses, including Hellenistic, psychological, Jungian, karmic, esoteric, and shamanic astrology. I have studied through various courses and drawn knowledge from a wide range of sources.
My academic background is in Behavioural Sciences (M.A.), with a specialization in Interpersonal and Intercultural Communication. I also hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and am trained in Sexology. I have worked in different technology startups and was involved in founding what is now Finland's largest psychotherapy centre. I have maintained a private practice in sex and relationship counselling for over ten years and have trained as a Level 2 practitioner of Dolores Cannon's QHHT® hypnosis method.
Alongside these studies, I have explored various philosophical, psychological, and esoteric traditions, including Hermeticism and Jungian psychology, which seek to understand human existence from different perspectives. Different frameworks for exploring consciousness have inspired me to view consciousness from a broader perspective than merely as a function of the psyche.
Gradually, these influences began to form my own interpretive framework and methodology. Consciousness Astrology™ emerged from a desire to bring together behavioural science, astrological symbolism, psychological growth, consciousness studies, and inner human experience into one integrated whole.
A Bridge Between the Visible and the Invisible
Today, my work focuses on helping people explore the connections between psychology, relationships, behaviour, the nervous system, life direction, consciousness, and personal growth.
I am a member of the Finnish Association of Professional Astrologers and currently serve as Deputy Chair of its Board.
The deeper I have journeyed into astrology, psychology, spiritual and consciousness studies, the more I have come to see astrology as a bridge between the visible and the invisible — between behaviour and meaning, psyche and symbols, and inner experience and lived life.
I have come to understand that this journey is not about becoming finished, but about continuing to learn, grow, and deepen into what it means to be human.

A Consciousness Astrology Reading with a Shamanic Astrology approach is a live 1:1 session where we explore your birth chart together.
This reading is suitable if you want to understand yourself more deeply, ask questions, explore your current life phase, and receive personal guidance through the symbolic language of astrology.
The session can focus on your birth chart, life direction, emotional patterns, nervous system,
relationships, current transits, purpose, visibility, vitality, spiritual growth, or whatever feels most relevant in your life right now.
You do not need to know astrology beforehand. You can come with curiosity, questions, life experience, or simply the feeling that you are ready to understand yourself or astrology on a deeper level.
Synastry Reading
Because I have worked for a long time with sexology, relationships, intimacy, and relational dynamics, synastry readings have become a natural part of my astrological work.
A Synastry Reading explores the relationship between two birth charts. It can help you understand the deeper dynamics between you and another person: attraction, emotional needs, communication, intimacy, projections, triggers, karmic themes, and the growth potential of the relationship.
Synastry does not define whether a relationship is “right” or “wrong.” Instead, it helps you see what the relationship activates, mirrors, teaches, and invites both people to understand more consciously.
This reading can be helpful for romantic relationships, important soul connections, family dynamics, or any relationship where you want to understand the deeper patterns between two people.
